In 1998, at the age of 18, Dr. Ishtaya was involved in a brutal train accident while train-hopping with a group of friends on the West coast. From the resulting injuries, his body stopped triggerring muscle movements normally.

Muscles all over his body atrophied, and he was bed-ridden, dependant upon others for care over the next five years.

In addition, during this time period he could not speak.

After exploring multiple healing options, including allopathic medicine, acupuncture, massage, and many other modalities, Dr. Weiss came into Dr. Ishtaya's life. Dr. Weiss was a medical doctor and energy healing practitioner practicing in Orange County, California at the time.

Dr. Weiss guided the young Dr. Ishtaya through a number of past lives where he was burned at the stake, tortured, and otherwise abused for being spiritually "out".

As these past lives released from his system, Dr. Ishtaya's pain levels began to go down dramatically. In addition, his physical function began to go up.

Before this time, the concept of past lives had been foreign to Dr. Ishtaya's inherited belief system. Direct experience opened his eyes to new possibilities, preparing him for the work he was to do later.

Over several years of intensive work with Dr. Weiss, Dr. Ishtaya was able to recover fully, and move on to a new chapter of his life.

The way that healing came to him taught him to understand the connection between vibration and consciousness, initiating his path of becoming an expert in these fields, and opening his mind to new possibilities that would guide him for the rest of his life.
